Job summary

Aon plc is seeking a Director, Cyber – Corporate M&A in London to lead cyber and technology risk assessments within complex corporate transactions. This role focuses on translating technical findings into commercial implications for buyers, sellers, and investors across the M&A lifecycle.

Based in our flagship London office, you will shape cyber security models Day One and beyond, drive growth in Cyber M&A engagements, and advise senior clients with a broad range of cyber domains

Qualifications

• Proven cyber security and technology risk expertise within complex corporate environments.
• Strong M&A transaction experience, including cyber due diligence, carve-outs, separations, integration and remediation.
• Ability to assess cyber risk and translate findings into transaction-relevant insights.
• Broad technical knowledge across cloud, networks, identity, applications, data protection, AI, security operations and resilience.
• Experience developing due diligence approaches, target operating models, integration plans and remediation roadmaps.
• Strong commercial and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to advise senior clients, develop compelling proposals and build trusted relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and grow a high-performing Cyber M&A team.
• Lead complex Cyber M&A engagements, including due diligence, carve-outs, separations, integrations and post-deal remediation.
• Advise senior clients and deal teams on cyber and technology risks across sophisticated corporate transactions.
• Identify and translate material cyber risks into clear commercial, operational and financial implications for clients.
• Shape Day One and target-state cyber security models, spanning governance, people, processes, technology, data protection and third-party risk.
• Drive business growth and act as a trusted Cyber M&A expert, building senior client relationships and collaboration across the global platform.
