Job summary

Aon Corporation is seeking an Associate Director for Cyber M&A focused on the infrastructure sector in London. The role centers on articulating cyber risks in critical infrastructure and translating OT findings into commercial impact for investors during the M&A lifecycle.

You'll work with a team of cyber and risk specialists to advise on secure transactions, mature cyber programmes, and resilience planning across energy, transport, water and digital assets.

Qualifications

• Strong cyber security expertise in critical infrastructure environments across energy, transport, water, digital and social infrastructure.
• Deep understanding of cyber security frameworks, regulations and governance (NIST CSF, IEC 62443, NIS2, KRITIS, NERC).
• Experience across IT and OT environments with risk-aware remediation strategies.
• Proven OT cyber maturity assessment and audit capabilities.
• Broad technical cyber security knowledge spanning security architecture, cloud security, data protection and secure software development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cyber due diligence on infrastructure investments, supporting acquisitions and wider transaction activity.
• Assess IT and OT environments across energy, transport, water, digital and social infrastructure.
• Identify cyber security risks, evaluate maturity, and develop remediation plans.
• Map security requirements and regulatory obligations to improvement programs.
• Support business development with client pitches, proposals and onboarding for infrastructure investors and corporate clients.
• Advise on cyber strategy, integration, and portfolio-wide cyber improvement programmes.
