Job summary

KPMG International Cooperative is seeking a CDS Lab Infrastructure Support Engineer in the UK to provide day-to-day operational support for CDS and CRS lab environments. You will manage provisioning, patching, upgrades, imaging, recovery and decommissioning of both physical and virtual infrastructure, and support secure connectivity, monitoring, vulnerability remediation and compliance activities.

• Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure in BAU operational environments.
• Knowledge of ITIL-aligned service management processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver reliable day-to-day support for CDS and CRS lab infrastructure for testing, analysis, training and research.
• Manage provisioning, patching, upgrading, re-imaging, recovery and decommissioning of physical and virtual infrastructure.
• Operate and support Microsoft Azure, Azure Local (Azure Stack HCI), Windows Server, storage and virtualization platforms, resolving incidents and coordinating break-fix activity.
• Administer Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID access, including time-bound and exception-based changes.
• Maintain secure connectivity to segmented lab services via networks, firewalls, VPNs and VDI.
• Monitor platform health, coordinate vulnerability remediation and support backup, recovery and compliance activities.
• Manage incidents, requests, changes and problems through ServiceNow and maintain SOPs and operational docs.
• Support service transition, early-life support and wider Group Digital infrastructure activity within defined service ownership boundaries.
