Job summary

The Centre for Information Resilience (CIR) is seeking an experienced IT Operations & Security professional to lead and support secure IT services in a hybrid London-based role. You will manage AzureAD, M365, and AWS alongside a Windows/Mac/Linux/mobile ecosystem and contribute to security risk management and audits.

UK SC clearance or eligibility is required; the position offers flexible working options with on-site presence 1–2 days weekly and periodic on short notice.

Qualifications

• Practical experience with cloud and identity platforms (Azure/AzureAD, SSO, M365, AWS).
• Hands-on with Windows, MacOS, Linux, iOS, Android environments.
• Understanding of security risk management frameworks and audit standards like Cyber Essentials.
• Active UK SC Clearance or full eligibility to undergo vetting.
• Practical awareness of AI tools and related security risks.
• Active attention to detail and strong analytical approach.

Responsibilities

• Support, monitor, maintain and refine IT and security service delivery across SaaS and IaaS platforms including AzureAD, M365 and AWS.
• Support and maintain a diverse hardware and OS ecosystem (Windows, MacOS, Linux, iOS, Android).
• Execute day-to-day IT operational tasks from investigations to provisioning, patching and remediation.
• Support internal audit processes and compliance baselines, identifying gaps and guiding risk management.
• Propose actionable improvements by questioning workflows, technologies and delivery methods.
• Apply technical skills to evolve operational security delivery across investigations in a dynamic environment.
