Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking a Customs Coordinator in Felixstowe to support import and export clearances for aerospace customers. You will prepare declarations, review documents, and ensure compliance with UK and EU customs regulations. The role provides UK Customs Academy training with Level 2 qualification.

The position follows a Tuesday to Saturday pattern, 08:00–16:30, offering opportunities to grow within a global logistics team.

Qualifications

Experience in Customs, Imports or a similar freight forwarding environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve documentation or clearance issues quickly.
Proactive and professional communication with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

Prepare and process import and export customs declarations per customer instructions and regulations.
Maintain accurate shipment and customs data across relevant systems.
Monitor the customs clearance process and resolve delays or documentation issues.
Liaise with customers, carriers, internal CEVA teams, HMRC and other authorities as required.
Calculate or verify customs duties, VAT and other charges; support post-clearance corrections.
Build strong relationships with customers and support regulatory compliance and service delivery.
