Job summary

Co-op Group is hiring Customer Team Members for our local Co-op store. This part‑time role covers a mix of opening, middle and closing shifts, with weekend work and overtime available.

You’ll help run the store, including post office counters, tills and online order tasks, while delivering friendly service to our community. Full, paid training is provided and you must be 18 or over due to early/late shifts.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ to apply due to early/late shifts or business needs.
• Ability to work across opening, middle and closing shifts.
• Interest in retail and helping customers in a busy store environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, thoughtful service to customers on the shop floor and tills.
• Support store operations to keep shelves stocked, prices and stock accurate.
• Assist with post office counters and online order tasks where required.
• Promote Co-op Membership and community involvement.
• Ensure store safety, legality and customer satisfaction during shifts.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth daily running of the store.
