Job summary

Co-op Buckie is hiring a Customer Team Member to join our local store. In this part-time role, you’ll deliver friendly, helpful service on a busy shop floor and may work in the post office, bakery, or assist with online orders.

We provide full training, 20 hours per week with regular overtime, and benefits such as a 30% staff discount, pension, and holiday entitlement. Shifts include late afternoons and weekends; you’ll be part of a welcoming team serving the community.

Qualifications

• Customer service mindset and a passion for helping people.
• Ability to work flexibly across shifts and weekends.
• Interest in retail and working in a busy store environment (experience not essential).

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, helpful service and assist with store operations.
• Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills to support daily sales.
• Keep shelves stocked, check prices and stock accuracy.
• Ensure store safety and compliance with price/date/temperature checks.
• Promote Co-op Membership and support the local community.
