Job summary

Co-op is hiring Customer Team Members to join our local Co-op store. You’ll work as part of a friendly team delivering fast, helpful service on the shop floor, at the tills, and in roles such as post office or bakery where available.

Shifts are between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend cover. We provide full, paid training and a competitive hourly rate of £13.04, with part-time hours (12 per week) and regular overtime.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing roles preferred but not essential.
• Able to work flexible shifts across weekdays and weekends.
• Friendly, helpful and urgently motivated to assist customers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, helpful service on the shop floor and tills.
• Keep shelves stocked, check prices and dates for accuracy.
• Promote Co-op Membership and support community needs.
• Assist with post office or bakery tasks where applicable.
