Job summary

Co-op Group is seeking Customer Team Members to join our local store. You’ll help deliver friendly, helpful service on the shop floor, at the till, or in associated roles such as post office or bakery.

You'll be part of a friendly team that makes life easier for our customers every day. This permanent part-time role offers 12 hours per week with regular overtime, full paid training, weekend availability, and a £14.29 per hour rate including London allowance.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
• Ability to work flexibly across shifts and as part of a team.
• Interest in retail and working in a busy store environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and thoughtful service to customers.
• Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Work on the shop floor and tills, and contribute to daily operations to create a great shopping experience.
• Keep shelves stocked and check prices, dates, and stock accuracy.
• Keep the store safe and legal - ensure prices, dates and temperatures are correct.
• Promote Co‑op Membership and support your local community.
