Job summary

CO-OP is seeking a Customer Team Member to join a friendly, fast-moving store. You’ll assist customers, stock shelves, handle tills, and help with online orders while promoting Co-op membership.

You’ll be part of a community-focused team, with training and development opportunities in a values-driven business. This part-time role offers regular overtime, a permanent contract, and shifts starting early mornings through evenings.

Qualifications

• Passion for helping customers and delivering great service.
• Willingness to work across a range of shifts as part of a team.
• Interest in retail and busy store environments.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the store by delivering friendly and thoughtful service, helping to put things right when needed
• Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly
• Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills, and contribute to daily operations to create a great shopping experience
• Help maintain store performance by keeping shelves stocked and checking prices, dates, and stock accuracy
• Make sure the store is safe and legal - keep shelves stocked and ensure prices, dates, and temperatures are correct
• Promote Co-op Membership and support your local community
