Job summary

Co-op Scarborough is seeking a Customer Team Member to join our local store. You’ll deliver friendly, helpful service, assist customers on the shop floor, operate tills, and help in the in-store bakery to support daily operations.

This part-time role is 16 hours per week with early starts and at least one weekend shift, with regular overtime possible. Full training is provided and you must be 18 or over to apply.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
• Ability to work flexibly across a number of shifts and as part of a team.
• Interest in retail and working in a busy store environment (experience not essential).
• Must be aged 18 or over to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and thoughtful service to support day-to-day store operations.
• Collaborate with the team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Work hands-on on the shop floor, tills, and in our in-store bakery, contributing to daily operations.
• Maintain store stock by keeping shelves stocked and checking prices, dates and stock accuracy.
• Ensure store safety and legality, including price and temperature checks.
• Promote Co-op Membership and support your local community.
