Job summary

Co-op Group is hiring a Customer Team Member at our store in Newtown St Boswells. The role involves delivering friendly service, working across a mix of opening, middle, and closing shifts, with at least some weekend work.

Training is provided, and the job includes working in our store bakery and possibly post office services. You will join a small team to keep shelves stocked, assist customers, and help with daily operations on the shop floor and tills.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Able to work as part of a team and adapt to shifts.
• Willing to work varied shifts including weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, helpful service to customers.
• Support daily store operations and team to keep shelves stocked.
• Operate tills and assist in bakery as needed to create a positive shopping experience.
• Check prices, dates and stock as part of safe store practices.
