Job summary

Co-op Group in Carnforth is seeking Customer Team Members to join a friendly team. You’ll deliver helpful service, work on tills and help in the in-store bakery, contributing to daily operations and a great shopping experience.

You’ll be part of a local community store with excellent training, flexible weekend shifts, and opportunities to engage with Co-op membership benefits and local partnerships.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates passion for helping people and delivering friendly service.
• Able to work flexibly across shifts and with a team.
• Interest in retail and busy store environments; experience not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, thoughtful service on the shop floor and tills.
• Support daily store operations and stock levels.
• Work in-store bakery and other areas as needed to keep customers served.
• Promote Co-op membership and community engagement.
• Ensure prices, dates and stock are accurate and shelves are tidy.
