Job summary

Co-op is seeking a Customer Team Member in Torquay to join our friendly store team. You’ll deliver helpful service on the shop floor and tills, help with bakery or post‑office duties where available, and keep shelves stocked with accurate pricing.

You’ll work 12 hours per week with regular overtime, on a permanent part-time contract, with a flexible weekend pattern. Full training is provided, plus staff discounts and a supportive benefits program.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for helping people and delivering great service.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and as part of a team.
• Interest in retail in a busy store environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and thoughtful service on the shop floor and tills.
• Keep shelves stocked, check prices and stock accuracy.
• Participate in bakery/post office duties where applicable.
