Job summary

Co-op in Carnforth is seeking a Customer Team Member to deliver friendly service in a busy store environment including potential post office, bakery, and online order duties. You will join a supportive team with full training provided and a role that helps the local community daily.

The position is part-time (18 hours/week) with regular overtime, including early shifts and at least one weekend shift. You must be 18+ and prepared for varied start times and duties across the store.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
• Ability to work flexibly across a number of shifts and as part of a team.
• Interest in retail and working in a busy store environment (experience not essential).

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and thoughtful service to customers.
• Work with team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Operate on shop floor and tills, and in in-store bakery, contributing to daily operations.
