Job summary

Co-op, located in the local community, is seeking a Customer Team Member to deliver friendly, helpful service on the shop floor, in the post office or bakery. The role includes packing orders for delivery and assisting customers with purchases.

You will join a dynamic team, working with flexible hours including early shifts and weekends. Training is provided and career development opportunities are available within a people-focused, member-owned business.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
• Ability to work flexibly across a number of shifts and as part of a team.
• Interest in retail and working in a busy store environment (experience not essential).

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and thoughtful service to customers and resolve issues when needed.
• Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Handle tills and on-site bakery tasks as required to support daily operations.
• Maintain shelves, check prices, dates, and stock accuracy.
• Ensure store safety and legal requirements, including correct pricing and temperatures.
• Promote Co-op Membership and support local community efforts.
