Job Description for Customer Team Member at Co-op

Join our team as a Customer Team Member at Co-op! We are looking for friendly, motivated individuals to provide excellent service and support in our stores. No CV needed—apply easily via your mobile device.

Working Pattern:

  1. 5 varied shifts over 7 days, including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing), and weekends, to be discussed at interview.
  2. Role includes working in our in-store bakery.

Full paid training is provided. Applicants must be aged 18 or over due to working hours before 6am or after 10pm.

Role Responsibilities:
  1. Provide friendly and thoughtful service, responding to customer queries and promoting Co-op products and Membership.
  2. Assist in-store bakery operations and ensure a great shopping experience.
  3. Support colleagues to solve problems and support store operations.
  4. Ensure store safety and legality, including stock management and price accuracy.
  5. Introduce and support new products and services.
  6. Engage with the local community through store activities and events.
