Job summary

Co-op Group in Harlow is seeking a Customer Team Leader to run the store on shift, lead a small team, and deliver great service to our community. You’ll work across the shop floor, tills, and possibly our bakery or post office, driving pace and standards every day.

You’ll keep shelves stocked, support merchandising and stock accuracy, and champion Co-op membership with colleagues and customers. A range of benefits and flexible pay options are provided.

Qualifications

• Passion for people and leadership.
• Ability to work flexibly and lead by example.
• Experience in retail, merchandising, or team management (experience not essential).

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day running of the store by leading the team on your shift.
• Motivate, coach, and support your team to deliver great service and efficient operations.
• Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills, and in the in-store bakery, supporting daily operations and setting the pace for a team of Customer Team Members.
• Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes.
• Champion Co-op through community engagement and membership growth.
