Job summary

Co-op Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Customer Team Leader to manage a small store team in a fast-paced retail environment. You will lead shifts, supervise tills, and help deliver essential services to the local community while promoting Co-op membership and value to customers.

You'll work 5:45am to 2pm or 2pm to 10pm, 16 hours per week with regular overtime and weekend shifts. The role offers a £14.48 per hour pay, flexible pay features, and a range of benefits including a colleague

Qualifications

• Experience in leading a small team in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to motivate and coach staff to deliver great service.
• Willingness to work early mornings and weekends with flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day running of the store by leading the team on your shift.
• Motivate, coach, and support your team to deliver great service and efficient operations.
• Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills, supporting daily operations.
• Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes.
• Champion Co-op membership and engage with the local community.
