Job summary

Co-op Group in Devizes is seeking a Customer Team Leader to manage a small store team on a mix of opening, closing and mid-day shifts. This part-time role involves helping stock shelves, serve customers, and support post office or bakery operations where applicable.

You’ll lead by example, coach colleagues, and drive membership and community engagement while delivering great service and efficient store operations. Regular overtime is available to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Passion for people and leadership.
• Ability to work flexibly and lead by example.
• Skills in retail, merchandising, or team management (experience not essential).

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day running of the store by leading the team on your shift
• Motivate, coach, and support your team to deliver great service and efficient operations
• Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills, supporting daily operations and setting the pace for a team of Customer Team Members
• Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes
• Champion Co-op through community engagement and membership growth
