Job summary

CO-OP is hiring a Customer Team Leader to run a small store team on the night shift, coordinating tills and shop floor duties. You will drive service, stock accuracy, and community engagement while supporting Co-op memberships and local initiatives.

The role is permanent, part-time (35 hours + overtime) with nightly shifts 10pm–6am, offering a 19.31£ hourly rate and a comprehensive benefits package. You’ll be part of a community-focused coop workforce.

Job description

As a Customer Team Leader, you'll lead a small team in a fast-paced Co-op store, helping to deliver essential services to your community. Depending on your store this could involve you working in our post office or bakery or supporting online services and our home delivery drivers. Whatever the day brings, you'll play a key role in making life easier for our customers.

What you'll do

Pay: £19.31 per hour including night shift premium

Contract: 35 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part time

Working pattern: Night shift to cover the hours between 10pm to 6am, specific nights to be discussed at interview.
