Job summary

CO-OP is seeking a Customer Team Leader to guide a small team on shift, delivering essential services and a friendly customer experience.

You will supervise daily operations on the shop floor and in the bakery or post office, coaching colleagues, driving merchandising and service standards, and supporting membership growth within the community.

• Experience in retail, merchandising, or team management (experience not essential).

Job description

As a Customer Team Leader, you'll lead a small team in a fast-paced Co-op store, helping to deliver essential services to your community. Depending on your store this could involve you working in our post office or bakery or supporting online services and our home delivery drivers. Whatever the day brings, you'll play a key role in making life easier for our customers.

Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing) including at least 1 weekend shift, to be discussed at interview. Role will include working in our in-store bakery
