Job description

We are hiring Customer Team Leaders at Co-op. Join us to enjoy comprehensive benefits, career support, and a friendly team environment.

Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings (from 6am), afternoons, late evenings (until 10pm), and weekends, to be discussed at interview. Role includes working in our in-store bakery.

Full, paid training provided. You can apply using your mobile device (no CV needed!).

Requirements: Must be 18 or over to authorize age-related sales.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide friendly, helpful, and thoughtful service, often managing the store and handling challenging situations.
  2. Develop your team's capabilities through coaching and training, fostering an inclusive culture.
  3. Ensure the store remains safe, legal, and operational.
  4. Manage diligence checks and stock accuracy to enhance shopping experience.
  5. Support the store manager by deputising and executing HR processes.
  6. Lead the introduction of new products and services, encouraging feedback.
  7. Engage with the local community, supporting the Co-op community plan.
