Job summary

Hedin Automotive London Ltd. is seeking a STAR Expert for Mercedes-Benz Croydon to welcome customers, present vehicle features, and deliver premium showroom experiences.

You will act as a product specialist, stay updated on models and innovations, and collaborate with the sales team to ensure a seamless customer journey from enquiry to handover.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles, ideally in automotive or premium retail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Able to present products and demonstrate features engagingly.
• Strong relationship-building and proactive, professional approach.
• Ability to learn technical information quickly and explain it clearly to customers.
• Must have right to work in the UK and hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and support them through their showroom journey.
• Deliver engaging vehicle presentations and demonstrations of Mercedes-Benz technology.
• Stay up to date with new models, innovations, and industry developments as a product specialist.
• Work closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless customer experience from enquiry to handover.
• Build lasting customer relationships through outstanding service and follow-up support.
• Support dealership events, product launches, and marketing activities promoting the brand.

As a STAR Expert, you'll be the face of Mercedes-Benz, helping customers discover the innovative features, technology, and benefits of our vehicles while creating memorable showroom experiences.

• Package circa £33K OTE
• 45hrs per week across a 7 day soft working pattern

• Have previous customer-facing experience, ideally within automotive, retail, hospitality, or a premium customer service environment.
• Are confident presenting products and demonstrating features in an engaging way.
• Have a proactive, positive, and professional approach.
• Are quick to learn technical information and able to explain it clearly to customers.
• Hold the right to work in the UK.
• Hold a full, valid UK driving licence.
