Job summary

National Energy System Operator Limited (NESO) is seeking a Customer & Stakeholder Engagement Officer (Events) to lead planning and delivery of customer and stakeholder engagement events across the Connections Reform programme. You will work with senior stakeholders to shape engagement strategies, set objectives and develop agendas that support organisational priorities and inform decision-making.

The role offers hybrid working with Warwick, Wokingham or Glasgow locations, a two-year fixed-term

Qualifications

• Experience working in a complex, fast-paced and evolving environment within regulated energy infrastructure or connections programmes.
• Strong customer focus with commitment to stakeholder needs and positive experiences.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication to engage diverse internal/external stakeholders.
• Ability to translate complex information into clear, accessible communications and discussions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, planning and delivery of customer and stakeholder engagement events.
• Shape objectives, agendas and content to support programme priorities and outcomes.
• Govern the event buy-in process with senior leadership.
• Translate stakeholder feedback into actionable recommendations for programme teams.
• Ensure engagement activities influence decision-making and programme evolution.
