Job summary

Miller Homes in Scotland West invites applications for a Customer Services Technician role based in Glasgow. You will perform multi-trade remedial work in occupied and unoccupied properties, upholding Miller Homes' customer service standards as the face of the field team.

We seek experienced multi-skilled tradespeople with knowledge of joinery, plaster patching, painting and decorating, and the ability to build strong relationships across the business to meet daily targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role, ideally with another housebuilder.
• Multi-skilled with knowledge of joinery, plaster patching, painting and decorating.
• Courteous, exemplary and efficient customer service at all times.
• Able to liaise with different disciplines within the business to achieve daily goals.

Responsibilities

• Carry out work diligently and safely in line with SH&E Management System.
• Liaise with Central Office Hub to provide status reports of tasks.
• Maintain smart appearance and wear appropriate footwear and protection.
• Obtain signed satisfaction/completion notifications from customers after completion.

We are looking to recruit a Customer Services Technician to join our team in the Scotland West region. The role will see you carry out multi-trade remedial tasks in occupied/unoccupied properties in a safe, resourceful and workmanlike manner, and uphold the core values of the Miller Homes business in relation to the much-coveted excellent levels of Customer Service we deliver being ‘the face’ of Miller Homes Customer Service in the field.

CUSTOMER SERVICES TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Carry out work diligently and safely in line with the company SH&E Management System
• To liaise directly with the Central Office Hub to provide status reports of on-going and completed tasks
• Always be of smart appearance and ensuring having the relevant footwear, and protection to the same, appropriate to the task assigned to, prior to entering and working in occupied properties
• To obtain signed satisfaction/completion notifications from our customers following completion of remedial tasks, where possible.

CUSTOMER SERVICES TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in a similar role, ideally with another housebuilder.
• Multi-skilled. To have a sound knowledge of joinery, general labouring and bricklaying, general plaster patching, painting and decorating
• To offer courteous, exemplary and efficient customer service at all times
• Able to form strong professional relationships and liaise regularly with different disciplines within the business to assist you achieve your daily goals
