This is a key role, focusing on providing effective, timely, and high-quality services to all our customers. You will handle and resolve a wide range of customer service issues via phone, email, or through colleagues; using your excellent judgment and communication skills, along with your passion for excellent service. You will also seek to implement improvements to communication and processes to raise standards further. You must be a skilled and natural customer service advocate with an understanding of its importance in a food distribution environment. Your attention to detail and organization will be excellent, supported by strong IT and finance skills.
You will also manage various administrative responsibilities, including invoice reconciliation, H&S support/audit, and document retention, requiring a high degree of financial awareness, organization, and accuracy, alongside strong IT skills. Approachability and a problem-solving attitude are essential to take on and resolve challenges in your day-to-day role.
This role requires a proactive and collaborative nature, working across departments on Customer Care days and Admin days, offering variety within the role.
