Job summary

SSP’s Rail Gourmet division is recruiting a Customer Service Assistant for Sheffield Station. You will support train-side deliveries, load and unload catering stock, and assemble orders while maintaining stock control.

You’ll work within safety and hygiene standards, contributing to a high level of customer service. This full-time role offers a structured training program, opportunities for progression, and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Full-time role at 40 hours per week.
• Willingness to learn through training provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate delivery equipment for train-side deliveries with training provided.
• Load/unload catering equipment and stock from EMR trains.
• Assemble orders and manage stock control.
• Comply with Health & Safety and Food Hygiene regulations.

CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT - SHEFFIELD STATION

Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour.
Hours: Full Time (40 hours)
Shifts: B etween 4:00am to 11:00pm

• Due to some responsibilities within the Customer Service Assistant role, applicants will need to be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts.

AS A CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT YOU’LL:

• Operating delivery equipment for train-side deliveries (Full training provided).
• Loading/offloading catering equipment/stock from EMR trains.
• Order assembly and stock control.
• Comply with Health & Safety/Food Hygiene Regulations.
