Booker is seeking a Duty Manager to lead a large front-end team in our busy Business Centre and store operations. You will help shape the customer experience, coach over 40 colleagues, and occasionally assume store leadership duties as part of the management team.

This role offers exposure to fast-paced food wholesaling operations, with a focus on service standards, staff training, and operational efficiency in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a retail environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to supervise, train and motivate staff to meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring team compliance with legal standards and company procedures.
• Ensuring cash handling training to minimise losses.
• Manage debt recovery from customers and overdue payments.
• Maintain payroll records accurately and promptly.
• Engage with customers to resolve issues and gather feedback.
• Coordinate with department supervisors to monitor delivery orders.
• Lead a customer-focused team at reception and checkout areas.
