Job summary

Booker in Oban is seeking a capable supervisor to lead a busy front-office team in our food wholesale operation. You will be at the fore-front of our Business Centre, guiding a team of over 40 colleagues and acting as Duty Manager at key times.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Clear communicator with supervisory or managerial experience.
• Experience working in retail operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure team complies with legal standards and company procedures.
• Ensure team trained in cash handling to minimise losses.
• Control debt and recover overdue or failed payments.
• Maintain payroll records.
• Engage with customers to resolve issues and improve service.
• Liaise with other Supervisors to monitor orders for delivery.
• Manage a team of customer-focused individuals at reception and checkout.
