Job summary

Switch Car Rental is seeking a Customer Service Representative at Glasgow Airport to ensure a positive rental experience from start to finish. You will assist customers with renting, returning and resolving issues, and you will process payments and rental agreements.

This full-time role (40 hours, Mon-Fri plus Saturday mornings on a rota) requires strong communication, attention to detail and the ability to work to service level agreements and KPI targets. Salary £27,024.06 per annum.

• A full driving license (held for at least 12 months).

Responsibilities

• Identify and exceed customer requirements.
• Coordinate the delivery and collection of rental vehicles at designated locations.
• Process payments and complete rental agreements.
• Answer phone calls and respond to emails.
• Maintain understanding of retail rental procedures and comply with Switch processes.
• Work within Service Level Agreements to meet KPI objectives.
• May undertake driving and vehicle cleaning as required.

THE ROLE

As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive and seamless experience for our customers throughout their car rental journey. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with renting, returning, and resolving any issues they may encounter. Your exceptional communication skills, attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment will contribute to our goal of delivering outstanding customer service.

Location -Glasgow Airport

MAIN DUTIES

• Identify and exceed customer requirements
• Ensure all administrative tasks are completed daily
• Coordinate and facilitate the delivery and collection of rental vehicles to and from designated locations
• Efficiently manage the rental process, including verifying customer information, processing payments and accurately completing rental agreements
• Maintain a full understanding of retail rental procedures
• Consistently comply with the Switch process’
• Answering phone calls and responding to emails
• Develop in-depth knowledge of each product to maximize customer experience and identify incremental sales opportunities
• Work within Service Level Agreements to ensure the branch meets all its KPI objectives
• Undertake additional duties at the request of your line manager, which may include driving and cleaning vehicles, depending on company requirements
