Customer Service Assistant - Yard, Saffron Walden

We are looking for a Customer Service Assistant - Yard to join us at Huws Gray Saffron Walden.

If you’re in the trade or have tackled a home improvement project, you’ve probably heard of us. We’re part of the Huws Gray Group, which includes brands like Huws Gray, Hirebase, Civils & Lintels, The Timber Group, PDM, NDI, and Anglia Tool Centre. Across the UK, our branches serve and support local communities with building materials, and we need the right people to help us do that.

Our Customer Service Assistants - Yard are essential in providing excellent service by sharing their knowledge of our stock and ensuring products are ready for deliveries and collections. Working in our branches, you'll be part of a team dedicated to outstanding customer service and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serving customers in the yard, advising on the best products for their projects
• Supporting incoming deliveries, organizing stock, and maintaining tidiness according to Health & Safety guidelines
• Assisting drivers with loading and unloading vehicles
• Preventing loss and theft by being security conscious

Qualifications & Preferences:
