Job summary

Heart of England Co-operative Society is looking for a Customer Service Assistant for our Wellesbourne food store. This 16 hours per week role focuses on friendly service, stock replenishment, and supporting promotions while working as part of a team.

You’ll receive full training and have a clear path to Team Leader and Store Manager roles, with benefits including staff discount and holiday entitlement.

What You’ll Do

As a Customer Service Assistant, you’ll play a key role in keeping our store running smoothly while delivering a great shopping experience:

• Deliver friendly, helpful, and efficient service to every customer
• Keep shelves fully stocked, well-presented, and shop floor ready
• Handle deliveries, replenishment, and stock rotation
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety
• Support promotions and merchandising activity
• Work as part of a team to achieve store targets

You’ll be visible on the shop floor, ready to help customers and step in wherever needed to keep the store running at pace.
