Job summary

Heart of England Co-operative Society is seeking Customer Service Assistants for our New Bilton, Rugby store. This part-time role offers 12 hours per week, permanent employment, and full training provided.

Flexibility with shifts, evenings and weekends is required, with travel to/from the store due to limited public transport. You will deliver friendly service, keep shelves stocked, handle deliveries, and support promotions while working as part of a team to meet store targets.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is helpful, but not essential – full training provided.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

What You’ll Do

As a Customer Service Assistant, you’ll play a key role in keeping our store running smoothly while delivering a great shopping experience:

• Deliver friendly, helpful, and efficient service to every customer
• Keep shelves fully stocked, well-presented, and shop floor ready
• Handle deliveries, replenishment, and stock rotation
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety

You’ll be visible on the shop floor, ready to help customers and step in wherever needed to keep the store running at pace.
