Job summary

Wickes in London is looking for a customer-focused team member for a 16-hour, part-time role. Shifts include Saturday/weekend options or weekday evenings, with discussion at interview.

You’ll help customers, keep the store tidy, and contribute to a friendly shopping experience. You’ll receive training and a benefits package, including age-based pay (£12.71 phr for 21+, £12.00 for 18–20, £8.82 for under 18), up to £300 monthly gain share, up to 10% employer pension contribution, and up to 35 days

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar retail role.
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly manner.

• Deal with and assist customers, providing a high level of service.

The Role...

Whatever your role in and around the store, everything you do will be focused on the customer experience. Parking will be a breeze, trolleys in easy reach, help always at hand, stock in the right place, deliveries out on time and payment met with a smile.Of course, while you’re creating a helpful and friendly customer experience, we’ll be thinking of new ways to reward, develop and invest in you. You’ll receive all the training, support and opportunities you need. Think of it as a down-to-earth place to work, where you get to go up in the world.

This is a 16 hours part time position which will require flexibility across one of the following available options (to be discussed at interview):

• Option A: Saturday and a weekday evening shift
• Option B: Sunday and a weekday evening shift
• Option C: Monday to Thursday early morning shifts (6:30 AM – 10:30 AM)

About you...

Every day you’ll be dealing with and assisting customers, so it’s important that you offer every person that walks through our doors a high level of customer service. We look for someone who ideally has experience working in a similar role.
