We are seeking a dedicated and flexible individual to join our team in Birkenhead within the Port Operations department on an ad-hoc basis to assist with managing high passenger volumes during our peak season.
The successful candidate will provide support during busy periods, ensuring smooth operations and excellent service. This temporary role offers a flexible schedule, ideal for those looking to contribute during a high-demand period.

The Port Operations Team is composed of customer-focused individuals working across all aspects of customer service. We are looking for someone to join us in Birkenhead.
Your main task will be to assist with the efficient transportation of passengers and vehicles to and from vessels, ensuring a pleasurable experience by providing high standards of customer service.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver excellent customer service for passenger and freight check-in at the port.
- Communicate accurately and promptly, liaising effectively with other departments and ports.
- Perform accurate and efficient check-in procedures using in-house Freight & Travel reservation systems.
- Record and securely handle all cash transactions following the Company Cash Handling Policy.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ customer service experience, preferably in travel or transport.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and quick to learn new systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
