Mole Valley Farmers Limited is seeking a friendly Customer Service Assistant in Billingshurst. This temporary, part-time role focuses on delivering outstanding service and supporting stock presentation and availability. Training provided and flexible hours help you balance work with personal commitments.

The position requires 25 hours per week (Mon-Fri 10am-3pm). Competitive hourly pay (£10.85–£12.71) with a benefits package and training opportunities to grow within retail.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; full training provided.
• Strong retail discipline and a passion for customer service.
• Good IT skills and ability to manage systems accurately.
• Awareness of Health & Safety and GDPR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service that is friendly, respectful, and solution-focused.
• Support the store team in maximising sales opportunities through product knowledge.
• Take ownership of a designated department and drive sales through merchandising and promotions.
• Review stock levels and adjust seasonally to meet customer needs.
• Processing goods inwards and maintaining stock file accuracy.
• Ensuring visual merchandising standards are met and the store is well-presented.
• Becoming proficient in cash handling and following company procedures.
• Working in line with health & safety guidelines and GDPR compliance.

About The Role

Contract: Temporary

Hours: Part-time

Hours of Work: 25 Hours per week, working Monday-Friday 10am-3pm

As a Customer Service Assistant, you’ll play an important part in maximising store performance by delivering outstanding service and supporting the presentation and availability of products. From assisting with stock management to offering knowledgeable advice, you’ll ensure every interaction reflects our values: Customer First, Honest, Committed, Knowledgeable, Courageous, and Innovative.
