Job summary

City of Doncaster Council is seeking an Apprentice Customer Service Advisor (CDC) to join our busy Customer Services team at the Civic Office in Doncaster. The role is a full-time apprenticeship, 37 hours per week, for 12-15 months, with a salary of £8.00 per hour (£15,434.27 per annum in the first year).

Training will be provided to develop skills in customer service and IT systems. The ideal candidate has enthusiasm, a customer-focused mindset and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• No experience required; suitable for a first role in customer services.
• Strong desire to succeed and develop in a frontline role.
• Willingness to complete training and education alongside work.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for customers across multiple access channels and IT systems.
• Provide high-quality support and assist customers with their needs.
• Work as part of a busy and vibrant Customer Services team and build rapport with colleagues and partners.
