Hayley Dexis is offering a Customer Service Apprentice role in Bury St Edmunds. You will rotate through trade counter, internal sales, and warehouse operations, gaining hands-on experience and learning to deliver excellent customer service in a busy branch environment.

The apprenticeship lasts about 15 months, with study during working hours and support from a training provider and manager. No prior experience required, just a strong attitude and willingness to learn.

Competenze

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
• Basic IT skills including Microsoft Office.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong attention to detail and logical thinking.

We re excited to offer a brilliant opportunity for a Customer Service Apprentice working within a busy and supportive branch environment.

About the Customer Service Apprentice role:

As a Customer Service Apprentice, you ll gain hands-on experience across key areas of the branch, building the skills needed to deliver excellent service to our customers. You will rotate through:

• Trade Counter supporting and serving customers face-to-face
• Internal Sales / Office handling calls, emails, and customer enquiries
• Warehouse Operations understanding stock, order fulfilment, and logistics

This well-rounded approach ensures you develop a strong understanding of both our products and how we support customers from enquiry through to delivery.

You ll learn how to:

• Communicate confidently with customers and colleagues
• Handle enquiries, orders and problem-solving effectively
• Use internal systems and processes
• Deliver a high standard of customer service in a fast-paced environment

Following successful completion, there may be the opportunity to progress into a Customer Service or Internal Sales role.

About the Apprenticeship:

• Customer Service Specialists level 3
• Duration: typically, 15 months
• Study and coursework completed during working hours
• Regular support from a training provider and your manager

What we re looking for in our Customer Service Apprentice:

• A genuine interest in customer service and building a career
• Enthusiastic, motivated and willing to learn
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• Basic IT skills (including Microsoft Office)
• Strong attention to detail and logical thinking
• Well-presented and professional approach
• Able to travel to and work locally

No prior experience is required just the right attitude and commitment to learning.
