About the role

Jewson, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is seeking a Yard Operative who is passionate about great service.

Working hours and location

Hours: 7.30 – 5.00, Monday to Friday, and every 2nd Saturday morning 8-12

Location: Winterstoke Road, Weston-super-Mare, BS23 3YF

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and engage with their projects
• Learn our product lines to advise customers effectively, aligning with Jewson Values
• Assist in preparing orders, loading/unloading vehicles using a forklift (training provided)
• Check deliveries and report issues
• Maintain stock levels and conduct stock counts
• Keep the branch tidy and presentable
• Prioritize health and safety at all times
