We are the lifeblood of Cambridge City Council’s workforce; our advisors are routinely promoted to positions across all teams, including housing, council tax, transformation, environmental services, elections, and housing repairs. Our team is crucial to the residents of Cambridge, assisting them with various situations. You might help someone who found a dog or assist a tenant with a roof tile issue, among other tasks. The role supports face-to-face, telephone, email, and web chat interactions, with training provided in person.
This position demands resilience and the ability to remain calm when dealing with customers facing difficult circumstances, including mental health issues or housing crises.
You will provide help and advice to customers, demonstrating relationship-building, ownership, and initiative. You will work collaboratively with all council services to enhance the customer journey.

Full-time, 37 hours per week, permanent contract.
£28,624 - £31,067 per annum
