As a Customer Service Specialist, you’ll work within our customer contact centre, primarily remotely, alongside other customer-focused team members. Your responsibilities include handling calls and emails (about 40% of your time), providing exceptional service to customers using or generating renewable energy at home. You will also work on technical tasks to proactively maintain account health, such as resolving billing issues.
You will take full ownership of customer problems, promoting digital services like Smart meters, and helping customers understand bills, energy use, and technical queries. The role emphasizes delivering quality service, exceeding targets, and maintaining our Trust Pilot rating.
We support remote working and structure workloads across squads, balancing calls, emails, and administrative tasks. Full training is provided, including a 16-week induction and ongoing resources to support your success.
In this role, you'll acquire skills to develop your career quickly in a dynamic industry. We support your growth through training, mentorship, specialisms, and an annual development allowance. Many of our specialists progress to roles in leadership, billing, metering, sales, HR, IT, marketing, and more within 9-12 months.
You should be resilient, analytical, inquisitive, and eager to solve complex problems. Excellent communication skills and calmness under pressure are essential. Successful candidates will attend an induction starting on 6th June 2025. The starting salary is £25,500, with part-time options available (30 hours/week).
