Job Activities
- Provide excellent customer support through liaison with the customer, third-party suppliers, SMs, ABMs, and other departments.
- Answer direct calls from customers within a prescribed timeframe, delivering service and support.
- Advise customers on threshold levels for bulk deliveries by analyzing and monitoring the signalman sites.
- Provide existing and prospective customers with price information on request.
- Process applications and accounts for customers.
- Liaise daily with Sales Managers and Area Business Managers on all aspects of customer service for specific customers in each channel.
- Deliver the customer service element of the channel strategy set out in the specific business channel KPIs.
- Help maintain customer accounts in CRM (Salsa).
- Call existing customers to secure orders to meet or exceed targets.
- Control aged debt by following up on payment of outstanding invoices using Business Planning reports.
- Provide feedback on KPIs related to sales targets, quotations, order placing, aged debt, and DSO.
- Record and gather information related to customer complaints, ensuring all data is correctly logged. Assist in investigations to resolve complaints.
Candidate Profile
- 2 years’ experience in an office-based customer service role.
- Proficient in using the full Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
- Experience using CRM systems.
- Good attention to detail and communication skills.
