Job title: Customer Service Advisor

Department: Activate Accident Repair, Mildenhall

Location: AAR Nottingham

Hours: 40 hours a week

Role Overview:

The Customer Service Advisor is the first point of contact for customers and colleagues visiting the Bodyshop. Responsibilities include greeting customers, issuing courtesy cars, liaising with the workshop, and updating customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the reception area, greeting customers and providing a positive and welcoming experience.
  2. Deliver exceptional customer service.
  3. Coordinate and manage the logistics of a collection/delivery service based on a large fleet of courtesy cars.
  4. Liaise with the workshop to determine vehicle completion times and delays, relaying any special instructions from the customer regarding deadlines.
  5. Regularly update customers on the progress of their repairs.
  6. Carry out visual inspections of courtesy or customer vehicles to identify any accidental damage and avoid uninsured loss damage costs.
  7. Process payments and issue invoices.
  8. Support in handling complaints in line with company policy.
  9. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and service level agreements.
  10. Ensure knowledge and compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
Skills and Experience:
  1. Strong attention to detail.
  2. Ability to handle issues professionally.
  3. Excellent communication skills across all channels, including telephone, email, and face-to-face.
  4. Computer literate.
  5. Ability to understand, implement, and review complex processes.
  6. Proactive attitude.
  7. Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  8. Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
