Pertemps Bond in Erdington, Birmingham is seeking a Customer Sales Advisor for a busy self-storage site. You will be the main face of the facility, greeting customers, handling calls and driving rentals with friendly service.

Full training provided, daytime hours 9:30am–6:00pm, five days a week with one weekend in three. £26,520 per annum, with opportunities to develop into supervisory roles within a small team.

Qualificações

• Experience in retail, hospitality, customer service or sales is helpful but not essential.
• Good maths and English basics; a short assessment will form part of the interview.
• Confidence speaking to customers face-to-face and on the phone.
• Friendly, outgoing and approachable manner, with strong organisational skills.

Customer Sales Advisor - Self Storage (Erdington, Birmingham)

£26,520 per annum | 9:30am-6:00pm | 5 days out of 7 (1 in 3 weekends)

Be the face of a busy, high-footfall self-storage site in Erdington. Join a well-established, 47,500 sq. ft. self-storage facility in Erdington, serving hundreds of local households, students, and businesses every month. Run by a small, friendly team of three, this site is the first point of contact for customers looking for secure, flexible storage solutions.

We're looking for a friendly, confident, and outgoing Customer Sales Advisor to welcome visitors, drive sales, and deliver excellent customer service from day one.

The role

As Customer Sales Advisor, you will:

• Be the main face of the site, greeting customers in person and handling inbound calls and emails.


• Advise on unit sizes, pricing, and availability, and convert enquiries into rentals.


• Conduct site tours, explain security features, and guide customers through the sign-up process.


• Process new rentals, promote add-ons (locks, insurance, packing materials), and maintain accurate records.


• Handle cash/card payments, issue receipts, and reconcile end-of-day takings.


• Support general site administration and work closely with the Site Manager and Regional Manager to hit site targets and KPIs.

What we’re looking for

You don't need storage experience - full training is provided. You will ideally have:

• Experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, or sales (helpful but not essential).


• Good basic Maths and English (a short assessment will form part of the interview).


• Confidence speaking to customers face-to-face and on the phone.


• A friendly, outgoing, and approachable manner.


• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well in a small, busy team.


• Reliability and flexibility to work one weekend in every three.
