Job summary

Equans is seeking a Customer Liaison Officer for a permanent, full-time role in Birmingham. You will engage residents before, during and after works, ensuring satisfaction while coordinating access, inductions and evidence-based surveys. You will collaborate with clients, subcontractors and local teams to deliver a seamless customer journey.

Qualifications

  • Experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in housing or construction.
  • Ability to manage residents through the works cycle with empathy and clarity.
  • Familiarity with GDPR regulations and data handling practices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consultation and support to residents before, during and after works to ensure satisfaction.
  • Manage the resident journey following client and Equans procedures.
  • Build relationships with residents, clients, subcontractors and local stakeholders.
  • Conduct consultation events and inductions, including scope and evidence documentation.
  • Coordinate access arrangements and appointment scheduling for home works.
