Aston & Fincher Ltd is seeking a proactive Store Assistant to help customers identify and purchase products, while supporting the store team to run smoothly according to company procedures. The role involves selling, restocking, and merchandising to maximise sales and deliver high-quality customer service.

You will pick customer orders, keep shelves stocked, ensure pricing accuracy, and maintain clean, well-presented store premises.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Store Assistant.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Thorough and punctual.
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills.

• Basic administration skills.

Responsibilities

• Pick customers' orders and serve customers.
• Keep shelves stocked and ensure pricing is correct.
• Stock is put out on shelf according to procedures.
• Count stock accurately.
• Use till / Retailer system for transactions.
• Pack all orders in line with company procedures.
• Assist with deliveries and transfer stock between stores/suppliers.
• Maintain safe, clean store and high standards of visual merchandising.
• Respond to customer inquiries and phone calls.
• Keep up to date with promotional activity and product info.
