Job summary

Haringey Council is seeking a motivated Recreation Assistant to supervise pool users, support centre activities, and maintain cleanliness and safety at Tottenham Green Leisure Centre. The role requires a current NPLQ and a customer-focused approach, with duties including responding to enquiries and assisting with day-to-day operations.

The position offers a 16-hour week on a permanent contract, with a starting salary on the SC2 scale (£29,562–£29,985).

Qualifications

• Must hold a current NPLQ and be committed to safety and customer care.
• Previous pool or leisure centre experience preferred.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
