Job summary

Novatech Ltd in Gillingham, Dorset, is seeking a Distribution Coordinator on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover. You’ll coordinate customer orders from receipt to delivery, build strong relationships with internal teams, and resolve queries to ensure a smooth process.

Based at our eco factory, you’ll manage orders, arrange deliveries and maintain accurate records, using ERP and Excel. You’ll be reliable, customer-focused and proactive, thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service, coordination, administration or order processing role.
• A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• A proactive approach, using initiative to solve problems and find solutions.
• The ability to build positive relationships across a range of teams and stakeholders.
• A willingness to learn new systems, processes and ways of working.
• A reliable and dependable approach, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Experience using ERP, order management or stock systems would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer orders from receipt through to delivery and resolve queries to ensure a smooth process.
• Work closely with Commercial, Supply Chain and Warehouse teams to manage orders.
• Maintain accurate records and build strong cross-team relationships.
• Roll up your sleeves, take ownership of workload and learn new systems and processes.
