Job summary

Apollo Research is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to own end-to-end deployments of Watcher at customer sites, including on-prem and cloud environments. You will build integrations, run POCs, and provide white-glove support, while collaborating with product to turn one-off needs into core features.

You’ll be the technical face to security and engineering leaders during evaluations, answer architecture questions, and help shape deployment tooling and runbooks for faster future rollouts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building and shipping production software across the stack (Python/TypeScript).
• Strong customer-facing skills with clear communication under pressure.
• High-ownership mindset; proactively solves problems and drives resolutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployments end-to-end: cloud, on-prem, and self-hosted backends with customer teams.
• Run technical evaluations/POCs; demonstrate real value and security coverage.
• Be the named technical contact for key customers; drive feedback into product and docs.
